Eddie Is Sick With Crohn’s Disease & Can’t Work

I really don’t like asking for help from anyone, I just don’t know what else to do. I’ve had Crohn’s Disease since I was 20 years old, had some major surgeries over the years (had to have entire large intestine and rectum removed) and have been relatively healthy with no severe flare-ups since. Over the last 12 months, I’ve noticed my health deteriorating and just in the last 3 or 4 months my illness seems to be progressing on a daily basis. I’ve lost two jobs (one was 13 years) since May of 2018. I’ve lost over 25 lbs in the last 2 months. I haven’t been able to work since the beginning of January and I owe my dear roommate over $2000 for rent. He’s been really patient but he’s not responsible for me and can not afford to continue. This GoFundMe is also to help me eat and pay for prescription medications and medical/ostomy supplies. I have applied for Employment Insurance and Income Assistance but it is taking way too long to get anywhere and they keep telling me that the paper work I have given them about my personal finances and even a doctor report is never good enough, never “complete”. That’s exactly what I’ve been told every time I jump through the hoops of beauraucracy. I have zero energy. I’m in pain all day, every day. I’m nauseated all day, every day. I have to force myself to eat most times. I have absolutely no income. I’m sorry to have to do this, but like I said I don’t know what else to do.
