Ed Clark's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
On Wednesday, March 1st 2017 at only 66, Ed Clark passed away suddenly in his home in South Philly.
Services will be held on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8TH FROM 6PM-8PM

JEROME J. CASSIZZI FUNERAL HOME
2913-17 East Thompson Street
Philadelphia, PA 19134
(215) [phone redacted]

Eddie played bodhran, tin whistle, and bones in local sessions throughout Philadelphia over the years including Fergie's, The Plough and the Stars, The Irish Center and the Shannachie to name a select few.

Ed was known and loved by the musicians and the Irish organizations he supported. He was well versed in history and song, and was the steady heartbeat of the session. Eddie was always one to share a story, a memento or keepsake or a homemade cassette recording with those who knew him.

He is survived by at least 2 nieces, Loretta and Kim, with whom he was very close. On their behalf, we are asking to help offset the cost of his cremation and services. Ed was not sick and did not set up a will or any legally valid directions and therefore the expense is falling upon his remaining family.

I am very confident that Ed's legacy in the Irish Philadelphia community will be carried on through those with whom he influenced and came to know. I will update this information when we know more about the services.

We thank you in advance for any generousity, every bit will help the family cover these sudden and unfortunate circumstances.
