Help raise money for wheelchair&treatment
Hello! My name is Jocelyn and I am here asking for your help to make my dad's dream come true. My dad is 54 years young and is diagnosed with ALS, for those of you that are not aware... ALS is a disease that causes the death of neurons in the body, it basically means his muscles will slowly give out and he will be have to be taken care of for the remainder of his life without being able to do much for himself, in most cases breathing and feeding tubes become part of the persons life style and they need to be watched over 24/7. My family and I never needed anything growing up and if we struggled I could never tell because he never let it show, did I have everything I wanted? No, but did I ever need anything..NO. He woke up everyday in a positive mood ready to go work, he was the life of the party in our family.. always dancing and jumping and and being a clown and ohhh playing baseball every single Sunday rain or shine....that was his favorite thing to do. Today I ask you with my entire heart and soul to please help us raise money for him. The funds will go towards a wheelchair that is able to help him get around which are custom made for patients with ALS. We are in the process of finding the right one but they turned out to be a lot pricier than we anticipated. The funds will also be going towards a new treatment that my dad decided to give a try, please help by donating anything you can, and if you can't donate please share and say a prayer for him. *We initially were also raising funds for his dream trip to Peru but things have changed since rain is extremely heavy from Nov-May and oxygen tanks would be needed for him along with special transportation...unfortunately time is running out and we have not raised enough money to book anything for this month or next month before the rain comes.

La ELA es una enfermedad que causa la muerte de las neuronas en el cuerpo, básicamente significa que sus músculos cederán lentamente y se debe ser atendido por el resto de su vida sin poder hacer mucho por sí mismo, en la mayoría de los casos, la respiración y las sondas de alimentación se convierten en parte del estilo de vida de las personas y deben vigilarse las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana. Mi familia y yo nunca necesitábamos nada mientras crecíamos y si luchamos nunca podría decirlo porque él nunca lo dejó ver, ¿tenía todo lo que quería? No, pero alguna vez necesité algo ... NO. Se despertaba todos los días en un estado de ánimo positivo listo para ir a trabajar, era la vida de la fiesta en nuestra familia ... siempre bailando y saltando y siendo un payaso y ohhh jugando béisbol todos los domingos, llueva o truene ... eso fue Su cosa favorita para hacer. Hoy te pido con todo mi corazón y toda mi alma que nos ayudes a recaudar dinero para él. Los fondos se destinarán a una silla de ruedas que pueda ayudarlo a moverse, que están hechos a medida para pacientes con ELA. Estamos en el proceso de encontrar el correcto, pero resultaron ser mucho más caros de lo que esperábamos. Los fondos también se destinarán a un nuevo tratamiento que mi padre decidió probar, por favor, ayúdenos donando todo lo que pueda, y si no puede donar, comparta y haga una oración por él. *Inicialmente, también estábamos recaudando fondos para su viaje soñado a Perú, pero las cosas han cambiado ya que la lluvia es extremadamente fuerte desde noviembre y mayo y se necesitarían tanques de oxígeno junto con un transporte especial ... desafortunadamente, el tiempo se acaba y no hemos aumentado suficiente dinero para reservar algo para este mes o el próximo antes de que llueva.
