I Would like to Challenge Everyone who has Ever had to Use Godfrey fire department for Anything to Donate To the Assistant Chief Ed McBride in His Fight Against Cancer!
And ANYONE else who would like to help!!
Ed McBride is Courageously Fighting Bladder Cancer. He is currently going through chemo treatments now and due to his diagnosis he is unable to work.
Ed is a Navy Veteran. He Has selflessly served the citizens of Godfrey for Over 25 Years. Currently as the Assistant Chief of Godfrey Fire Department. When He isn't Fighting fires he is The Bowling Coach for the Youth traveling league.
He has served his community and is always involved when someone needs help, whether it is Someone who doesn't have a place to stay or Someone who just needs a good ear to listen. Ed & his wife Becky have Always been there for Anyone who needs anything.
I have known Ed & Becky for more years than I can count. They have helped me When I Needed it with No Questions asked. I can attest to, as well as Anyone else that knows them, They ARE the BEST Friends That Anyone could Ever Hope to have in their life.
I wanted to do Something to help pay them back for what they have done for me, so I am doing this.
Since Ed is Not able to work the Bills are piling up.
All money raised will be used for bills.
Ed means a lot to so many people. He is dedicated to his family, job and community. I have Never met a man that is so genuine, caring & thoughtful.
