Support Alyssa's Internship Abroad!

A year ago I decided to return to school and complete my masters in public health. Now I have the incredible opportunity to apply the knowledge I have and gain practical experience in something that I am passionate about. After 3 rounds of interviews I was accepted into the internship program with the organization FIMRC, Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children. I have included a link to their website but the reason I was so drawn to working with them is because of the emphasis they put on integrating volunteers into the community.

This is not only an opportunity to gain experience but an opportunity to contribute to a community and the lives of others. I am unbelievably grateful for the experience to come and hope that you would consider supporting me. I will be going for 7 months to Anconcito, Ecuador and will be volunteering my time. The money contributed will help to go towards my monthly fees that cover my travel and living expenses. Any contributions are extremely helpful and much appreciated!
