Help Us Get a School Computer

A little backstory.....As many of my friends know my husband lost his job back in April of this year. After about 3 months he finally landed a full time job. However, we are struggling. This job only pays less that half of his previous salary, which we barely got by on then but managed. I have gone back to work at the pharmacy part - time and Eric is still on the look out for a better paying job.

We decided to homeschool our girls this year. We choose a primarily computer based curriculum for them called Easy Peasy Homeschool, which is free. However our computer (which is a 5 year old laptop) is about to die on us. It takes about an hour to work out the glitches and works sporadically afterward. I am afraid one of these mornings it will not work at all and we will be stuck with nothing for the girls to do there school work on!

I am swallowing my pride and asking for help from you my family and friends! We would like to buy at least one Google Chrome Netbook for them for $200, as this would be the perfect platform for them to work with and the price is right.
