Eastern U.S Travel

Good day to each and everyone of you. Allow me to introduce Ahk-ta-na-hi Goodblanket. Ahk-ta-na-hi was born traditionally, natural child birth and was born inside the TP a most sacred space. Born August 11, 1999.
Ahk-ta-na-hi was only 14yrs old at the time his older brother, Mah-hi-vist, experienced a mental episode and  was shot and killed in the family home by officers.
Ahk-ta-na-hi, his father, and I, and his brothers girlfriend have all been deeply effected by the brutal force and lack of respect for human life those who were wearing badges displayed that frigid cold winter night December 21, 2013..
Since his dad ecperienced injury on the job in 2009, a failed surgery iin 2010 the family has been supported soley by the one disability income that leaves us unable to provide the graduation dream our son has. That dream is to have a  down payment on a reliable vehicle and to take a trip that spans 4 states to meet and experience the familiar grounds of his maternal lineage.
Ahk-ta-na-hi has maintained a calm and respectful persona in the midst of the darkest of times. He has taken his experience of that fatal night and turned it into a platform of the arts through his own unique way of composing and producing hip hop that speaks TRUTH and JUSTICE for his brother Mah-hi-vist Goodblanket and others who have journeyed at the hands of those who entertain fear through a paramilitary mentality. His music offers opportunity for members of humanity to "Rise" in one collective voice and stand in solidarity for what is to the greatest and highest good of all.
Ahk-ta-na-hi has completed his High School education and has surpassed the ccredits required. His graduating GPA is a 3.67 and he now waits to walk where his brother walked to recieve his diploma in May 2017.
We are all very proud of Ahk-ta-na-hi and we know that there are others out there who are able and willing to assist him in following his dreams. It is our goal to raise the funds bu May 30th 2017 so that we can plan a trip to the Eastern U.S. Ahk-ta-na-hi has maternal relatives who reside in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina that he has never met due to lack of travel funds and the long distance that separates Oklahoma from the Eastern States.  He desires to travel East to meet and get aquanted with his relatives and to also visit the place and family that blessed him with his name. He also has a opportunity to take his talent to New York and meet people in radio to promote his music and possibly record in studio.
YOUR GIFT will be used to support  travels following his graduation. He will meet and make relationships with his maternal relatives.  He will experience first hand a missing link that is so deeply conected to who he is. Please help us in bringing this wish to fruition.
By reaching the monatary  goal  or even getting close, Ahktanahi will experience first hand that our world is full of love and light and that sincere, positive thoughts prevail in a world often stricken by violence and genocide.

Ahk-ta-na-hi will soon step into his future in music production and performing, spreading  his knowledge and wisdom to those willing to listen.
