We need your help!
On Sunday night a second earthquake hit Lombok.
Thousands of houses are destroyed and more then 100 people have died.
My sister and her family live at Lombok and her village is badly hit. They currently camping on the streets and waiting for help to arrive. There's still no electricity and everybody is still in panic as after shocks are still happening....
Lombok is my second home and many of my friends and our staff need your help. It breaks my heart to see the damage and fear...
We've been running the LombokCare Foundation since 2008 and helped many families. Our team needs your help to rebuild Lombok.
Please donate and we will guarantee you that the money arrives at the places that need it the most. We have our team in Lombok ready to help the locals and you will see where your money goes directly...
The funds will go to the LombokCare Foundation in Indonesia.
We will keep you updated on the LombokCare Facebook page:

Thank you for sharing <3
Our team in Lombok created a great video so you can get an impression on one of the projects we started since the earthquakes:
Please check out the other posts on the LombokCare Facebook page.
If you're in Brisbane area, please feel free to come along to our fundraiser on the 14th of September.
Thank you once again for your support. We truly appreciate your help.
We lost one of the children from our foundation :(.
RIP little Ahmad Kanu
Born on the 7th of May 2014
Passed away on the 23rd of August 2018
Kanu lived in Karang Pule in Mataram. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Quadriplegic and joined LombokCare since March 2018. LombokCare picked him up every once a week so he could get physical therapy, and thanks to donors we were also able to support him with extra Formula Milk.
He passed away not because of the earthquakes, but because of diarrhea and respiratory problems, which he got during his stay in a refugee camp where he stayed near a place with much waste (it even seems that in this place there are refugee camps on top of a cemetery ). Kanu's parents didn't manage to take him to a doctor and they didn't get to inform us as it all happened so quick!
All we could do today is pray for him and give some rice to the people living in these bad conditions..hope we can do more very soon!
Our team in Lombok is very busy with lots of different activities. These activities include:
1. Rehabilitation program
2. Education program
3. Survey on the needs for steel with plywood beds
4. Meeting with all involved organisations for people with a disability
5. Distribution of basic necessities to LombokCare's children
6. Production of the steel with plywood beds
7. Distribution of the steel with plywood beds
8. Doing groceries for helping the children of LombokCare and other refugees
9. Dividing the groceries into packages
10. Home visits to children who get therapy
11. Home visits to children of our school
12 Public kitchen
And probably many more that I didn't mention...
We are grateful for all your support.
If you know of any other people or businesses who are willing to support us, please share this page with them. Or our website / Facebook page.
We are working on uplifting the sleeping areas in the tents, because people sleep on the floors. If it starts raining they will all be wet.
We also supported local hospitals and medical points with medical aids.
Also a food kitchen is still running for a local village.
In Lombok so many people and little NGO's are making a difference. It's very unclear what the government is actually doing and planning to do unfortunately.
This is one of the latest live videos.
We started a couple of community kitchens in effected areas. The main focus at the moment is still food, shelter and medical aid.
