The Earl of March High School Technology Department needs your help!
The Earl of March Secondary School Technology Program was launched in 1972 and has grown to over 15 different courses serving over 500 students each year. For the first time in the Technology departments history we are making an outreach to local business, our alumni and the local community
The Technology Department is looking to purchase a CNC Plasma Cutter at a cost of $40,000 and we need your help to raise the funds.
The EoM has been a loud and proud school for a little over 40 years and we are hoping our alumni, parents of students past and present and current students will come out to support this great program. Please share with your EoM network and lets see if we can't hit the $40,000 goal before Christmas
The Technology Department provides a hands on environment for students to learn skills that apply to a wide variety of trades, engineering and computer science programs. Providing a safe, relevant tool set for the students to work with in our labs is critical to the ongoing success of our program
A CNC plasma cutter will allow our students to make the leap from our current CAD to 3D printing
capability to full scale CAD CAM production.
As we are the first high school to be involved with
the Tetra Society (http://www.tetrasociety.org/), we require the ability to rapidly fabricate
student designed assistive devices for community members with physical disabilities.
If you or your organizations would like to get involved in our campaign please contact our parent volunteer fundraising chairperson
If you would prefer to contribute via cheque for tax reasons;
Donations can be mailed to; Earl of March – Technology Department, 2 The Parkway, Kanata ON K2K 1Y4
