A Response to Tragedy-Youth Theater

True stories, social issues and powerful messages developed through music, dance, acting and song and given to diverse communities.  Eagle Theater provides a members a voice for their dreams, fears and challenges by producing raw, dynamic theater that also gives their audiences an opportunity to be involved.

Thanks to your help, this year we we performed our show that dealt with suicide and transgender youth at the International Thespian Festival.  Troupe members performed for a packed theater and shared their powerful  musical to enthusastic and appreciatve audience members.   of In addition, we presented our Break the Hate Habit  workshops  which taught people how to use teambuilding and interactive theater to positively impact groups.  Partcipants were touched, moved and inspired!  Some have asked us to visit their schools and others plan to take our script and do the show in thier areas.

We now embark on  to continue writing for next year - we are working on a play that deals with issues of date rape, alcoholism and family dynamics.
