Eagle Rock's 5th grade Astro Camp

We are a group of dedicated 5th grade teachers who would like to take all of our 120 5th graders to the 3-day Astro Camp in Idylewild , CA in March 2017.
AstroCamp is a hands-on physical science program with an emphasis on astronomy and space exploration. The classes are designed to inspire students toward future success in their academic and personal pursuits. With a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), AstroCamp meets the science content standards for California.
Each year we have a percentage of students who require scholarships in order to attend Astro Camp with their peers. The money we fundraise will be used to directly to pay the student's tuition in order to attend Astro Camp this March!!
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to be exposed to hands-on science learning opportunities regardless of their socio-economic status. As united public educators, we truly appreciate any amount you can afford for our scientists of tomorrow!
We are so thankful for any and all contributions you can make, our students will be so relieved to see we have reached the goal before our new deadline, February 1st, 2017.
