Blessings for Baby Blake

Donation protected
In the early hours of July 27, 2015, Frank and Tabatha Jones headed to Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton, Georgia, filled with excitement that the time had arrived for the birth of their third son, Blake Owen Jones. This was supposed to be one of the happiest days of their lives, but instead, their worst nightmare unfolded.

Tabatha began bleeding heavily and her unborn baby was in distress, so she was taken in for an emergent c-section.  She experienced placental abruption, starving her baby for oygen. When Baby Blake was born, his heart was not beating and he was not breathing.  He was resuscitated and flown to Northside Hospital in Atlanta.  Blake is still in the NICU on a ventilator.  He has opened his eyes, but his breathing is still too erratic to remove the breathing tube and take him off of the ventilator.  Blake is fighting for his life.

Tabatha's medical condition made things even more difficult for this sweet family.  Her blood loss was severe, causing her kidneys to fail and requiring her to receive multiple blood transfusions.  She was medically unstable and unable to be with her baby for several days, remaining hospitalized in Canton with Blake in Atlanta.  She has now been diagnosed with yet another life-threatening obstetric  complication, HELLP Syndrome.  Her blood pressure is dangerously high, and if not kept under control, could require her to become rehospitalized.

The Jones Family is in crisis and needs our help.

They are facing an uncertain future, as Blake continues to fight for his life.  The extent of the damage to his tiny body from lack of oxygen cannot yet be determined. Tabatha and Blake's medical bills are mounting.  The expenses associated with daily travel back and forth between the family's home in Cherokee County and the hospital in Atlanta quickly accumulate.  Frank and Tabatha, along with their young sons Frank and Connor, need the luxury of time spent together as a family without the worry of lost wages.  Financial donations cannot change what has happened to this family, but they can ease the burden and stress associated with it.

Please consider donating to The Jones Family, even if it is just a small amount.  Through their careers, Frank and Tabatha have been dedicated to helping others.  The kindess and compassion they have shown to others through public service makes them deserving of our help and support. If you cannot afford to donate, please send up prayers for the family or share this page - it may touch someone else's heart that is able to help.
