Help Save Axle

This is Axle! He is the sweetest 12 week old Mastador. He started his journey with our family when my parents picked him up following my dads treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He came home and stole our hearts. He was the newest addition to our family dog pack which already included a bulldog named Stella, and a Lab named Sam. This past Thursday, Stella had fluid around her heart, and lost the use of her hind legs. When we went to the vet, we did everything we could buy there wasn’t much to do, and we were unable to save her. Our hearts were already shattered Thursday night, and then Friday morning Axle was admitted to the emergency vet, he ended up contracting Leptospirosis, and as a result he declined very quickly into kidney and liver failure.  After a very touch and go couple of days in quarantine at the emergency vet, lots of tears, and prayers, we’ve got news that he has a shot. His only chance at making a full recovery, even after  the enormous amount we’ve already spent, is getting a few very costly dialysis treatments to get the antibiotics to his kidneys, and hopefully get them  up and running on their own again. This is a plea from our family to whoever reads this to please help us save this innocent baby.  He hasn’t gotten to experience life yet, and we want to give him every fighting chance. Our hearts cannot take losing two dogs in four days.  Any amount will be so greatly appreciated, if you can’t donate, please share. This is an extremely unexpected huge financial hit, we want to give him every chance that we didn’t get to give Stella to pull through.
