Traveling Expenses/Bills for the family of SPC Tyler Lee Ponthieux. US Army, 38th OD CO (EOD). Duty station: Fort Stewart, GA. From: Pineville, Louisiana. Graduate from Tioga High School
22 years old.
My nephew Tyler was involved in a hit and run accident on 7 May 2017 in Florida while attending the EOD memorial service. He has suffered a severe, tramatic brain injury. Upon notification his family drove from Louisiana to Fort Walton Beach medical to be by his side. He has undergone several brain surgeries to help with his injuries but after intense treatment the Drs and staff have done all they can at this facility. They recommend that he be flown to the University of Alabama in Birmingham to continue treatment to try and save his life. They hope to leave as soon as possible. Tyler is a member of the EOD team, yes a dangerous career choice but one he loves, he's also a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church in Rigolette, Louisiana. This is heartbreaking for our family, his dad, Kevin, his mom, Misty and sister, Meaghan need our help, this is something we are never prepared for. They need our help with everyday living expenses while waiting on the outcome for their son. We ask that you join us for family prayer daily at 7:00 pm and 8:am no matter where you are. We thank you so much
