Insulin costs rising

I have never had to take this action before but the time has come.  Last year I had a wake up call where my Type 2 diabetes is concerned. After a few days in the hospital, I had a toe amputated in May. Since then I have been on a course of action to keep the diabetes in check. So far so good. I am receiving help with medications which are in excess of $1600.00 a month for insulin alone. I received help with copays last year through the hospital for the bills concerning hospital stay, and office visits. This year however, I have exhausted all appeals and have been turned down for financial help. Any donations made here, will help me maintain my current living situation and help me from a financial crisis. I have waited for over 6 months to come here for help but cannot wait any longer.
