Ellie's campaign for Age UK Richmond upon Thames

In September I am running my first half marathon! I am taking part in the Richmond Running Festival as I have always loved running but never quite run this far!
I have also chosen to run to raise money for charity, Age UK Richmond upon Thames, as part of the national and international charity Age UK. Their mission means a lot to me, and I hope that you'll consider contributing to such a great cause.
With an ageing population, there are more people aged over 60 than ever before, and they are the fastest growing group in society, many of whom face new challenges that our services are not always able to meet.
Age UK provides an amazing service supporting elderly people in the community, providing opportunities to improve fitness, develop new skills, as well as practical and emotional help and advice.
Living longer should be celebrated and everything Age UK does is designed to change the way we age for the better. Every little bit will help me reach my goal, whether you donate £5 or £50, your contribution will make an impact. Thank you for your support!
