For those that know, and those that don't, my niece, Serena Profitt is extremely ill. She has a extream case of ecoli, and kidney failure. She is undergoing dialysis daily until her kidneys come back. She is in dornbechers hospital for a possibility of 3 weeks to 3 months, until her kidneys are fully functioning. We are trying to help with medical bills and financial help, as mom and dad are with her night and day. Anything will help, even prayers. Thank you in advance!

The family welcomes the public to the service but, due to seating capacity of the church, only close family and friends will be allowed to enter the church. Those not directly connected to the family are encouraged to surround the church in a circle of support. We are working a shuttle service from a local parking lot to the church or additional parking close to the church and will post an update as logistics are worked out. We thank all the family, friends, and strangers who have reached out to us and can not even begin to express our gratitude.

First off, I would just really like to thank everybody that has donated, prayed, and supported our family.
I would personally like to thank Jim Ferretti at KXL 101 for being the first to get the word out to the rest of the media for us.

Lars Larsen for his kind and generous support.

Members of the Washington County Sheriff's Office for their support and prayers.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Community for their support and love.

And the many other family, friends, and complete strangers that have blessed Serena and our family.

I will continue to keep all of our supporters up to date on how things are going, how the test on where the source came from, and our battle to get answers. Thank you so much again.

Our little grandson died of e-coli in 2009. He too had this nasty strain of E-coli. Joseph was misdiagnosed with C-diff. He fought so hard but lost the battle about 10 days after he exhibited symptoms. Just like your beautiful little girl, he was a precious little boy. He would have been going into second grade. It was never determined where Joseph contracted it. Our hearts go out to you. There are no words that will make the hurt go away. God Bless all of you. You can see little Joseph if you type in Joseph Coning Maryville, TN.

My name is Amanda Williams. I have been following your story as it hits close to home for me. My little girl was up at doernbeckers the same time as yours. My little girl got to come home that monday. I am really sorry for your loss. I couldn't imagine. I hope you sue good samiritan hospital for what they did. As I am looking into it with what they did with my little girl. For 3 weeks she was sent home they were telling me it was viral. Turns out she had salomonella with typhoid fever. She could have died as well. We are still fighting our battle with this sickness. All the dr.'s had to do was simple tests to find out. Yet they did nothing. I don't know the pain you are suffering. I do know how close I was to the same thing. My heart goes out to you.

Steve and Rachel, Of all the things I have written in my life, this message is arguably one of the hardest to pen. No words can express what you are going through so I will not attempt to write the impossible. You are in my thoughts and many prayers are with you and your family. I love you guys very much, Chief

I am so sorry for your loss. This story has broken my heart as I have a 5 year old girl named Lily who is the light of my life. This was such a tragic event and words cannot describe how much sorrow I feel for you and yours. I don't have much money, but I hope this helps. Best wishes and condolences, Jack
