Help save Baby

When I was a young girl I helped deliver this kitty into the world. I have raised her since then for the past 8 years.  She has always been extremely sweet to everyone who meets her. In the end of September someone shot her with a shot gun breaking multiple bones in her leg and also breaking her foot. It broke my heart to have someone do something so cruel to such a sweet animal. We have already paid over $500 for her to have a surgery and put an external fixator to stabilize her leg. Her leg is not healing like it should. The vet is working out what else we can do to heal her but everything else will be pretty costly and with our first born child on the way we can't afford much more. The vet said that she is one of the most patient and sweet cats he has encountered. Please help us save her. Anything helps.
