Zakkary was born with hydrocephalus which resulted in cerebral palsy. He had a zest for life and a contagious laugh! He loved swimming, horseback riding and sitting in the golf cart. In 2011, Zak passed away at only 15 years of age.
Zakkary always wanted to have fun like any other child but his wheelchair often prevented this from happening. His family has started the Zakkary Johnson Memorial Fund in his honor. The goal is to develop a Universal Design Park and Miracle Field so that all children can play together with and without disabilities. This campaign will raise money towards the Mr. Crab! Let's build a park where all children can play!
