Located in Puerto Princesa in Palawan Philippines, The Dylan Tattoo Shop has reached out and touched so many lives. They are more than a tattoo shop - they have provided an amazing tattoo experience with a genuine hospitality to hundreds of people. They go beyond the tattoo experience reaching out and creating lifelong bonds and friendships with so many people including countless US Navy Seabees who have been deployed to Palawan for humanitarian missions. The crew at the shop are more than coworkers, they are a family. And even further, they bring their customers into their family and make them feel welcome.
They team at Dylan are world class artists, treating every tattoo as important as the last and giving genuine care about the customer’s desire and relationship to the piece.
If you have had the pleasure to go to the city of Puerto Princesa or had the opportunity to visit the Dylan Tattoo shop, you would notice the unique event that takes place: one a customer is done with their tattoo, it is announced, “Let’s give it up for (fill in a name) on their new tattoo!” Followed by an applause of the entire shop and then the beautiful words of “Congratulations!” If you familiar with other tattoo shops around the world you would know how rare this is. Most tattoo shops I have seen the next words are “I will meet you at the register.”
On September 6th there will be a tattoo convention in Ventura, California that they are trying to attend. However, as we all know plane tickets, registration fees, visas and every other thing along this journey is extremely expensive!
The guys that work at Dylan are an amazing group of people who continue to bring joy, art and kindness into this world day after day and they deserve this trip! So let’s help these guys get to America so they can show the world what they have shown me and countless others!
