Diesel’s road to recovery

Hello friends and family, our beloved 10 year old beagle named Diesel recently developed issues with his spinal cord this past weekend. After his daily walk Friday evening he collapsed and lost the ability to use his back legs, refusing to get up. He kept his head and neck held high in excruciating pain trying to relieve the tension down his spine as pictured above. Diesel was taken to emerge where they gave us two options which were to put our family member down or risk complications of surgery being an elderly dog. Knowing how much life is still left in Diesel we weren’t ready to give up on him and went through with the surgery. He’s still in recovery at the emerge clinic and won’t be released until later this week. I’m not one to ask for money but after receiving the vet bills for the 8,000$+ treatment, I thought I would give this a try and ask for any kind of donation big or small, it’s greatly appreciated.
