Riding Against Traffic
Hi everyone!
My name is Hannah Harmon and I need your help. On March 21st, 2016 I will begin an epic adventure of 13,000 miles cycling around the United States to raise awareness for Human Trafficking. I will be riding through approximately 37 states over six months relying solely upon hospitable people to provide me with a place to stay, food, and other necessities.
The purpose of the ride is not only to start conversations but to raise money for 4 anti-trafficking organizations:
1. Missouri Bapist Children's Home: St. Louis, MO
http://www.mbch.org
2. Crisis Aid International: St. Louis, MO http://www.crisisaid.org/usrefuge/
3. The Apples of God's Eyes: Kathmandu, Nepal
http://www.theappleofgodseyes.com
4. Casa Shalom/House of Hope: Bucharest, Romania
http://www.casa-shalom-family.org
The money raised will first go to cover my budget of approximately $5800.00 and then any overflow will be distributed to these ministries. I leave in just under 1 month, so I need funding as soon as possible! This ride cannot happen unless I am able to purchase the necessary gear to keep me safe on the ride.
I can't describe how excited I am to be able to help people while I am fulfilling my dream of being homeless on a bike. Thank you all so much for helping make this happen. Human trafficking is a real issue and it will continue to grow and enslave more people until we stand up and fight for freedom, for those who have no voice.
