Spencer's eye shield fund

Donation protected
Our son Spencer was playing his first Varsity football game on 8/22/2014 when he was severely injured by another players thumb to the eye. He has what they call Traumatic optic neuropathy with a retinal detachment. The Doctors at Bascom Palmer eye institute said he will be blind in his left eye for the rest of his life. His dream was to become a police officer like his Grandfather. Now, that dream has been shattered. Spencer would like to be able to raise enough money to donate eye shields for the football players in this county and more. He will never play his favorite game again but wants to keep other players from eye injuries like his. He has a long road ahead of him, along with surgery to attach his retina and many, many medical bills. Spencer has a heart of gold and has been through so much in his short life. We lost his 3 year old sister June 9th,2006 to a drowning and then his older brother June 9th,2010 to a moped accident. Spencer deserves so much for all he has endured in his 16 short years. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this story. God Bless
