Allie's Medical Expenses

Allie is very sick & has internal bleeding, intense pain & other horrible symptoms in addition to her other illnesses including Lupus, Hypothyroidism, Fibromyalgia, etc. She was in the hospital & has a bad case of Ulcerative Colitis & they are worried about her stomach bleeding as well. She seems to be going back downhill today & if that continues or gets much worse she has to go straight back to the ER. She already has to go back to the hospital in a few days for more scary procedures & tests. She will most likely need surgery soon but for this week the ER & the Specialist the hospital sent her to have put her on several new medications including antibiotics, a strict diet of hardly anything, she can't even eat fruit or salad, between that, pain, weakness & other symptoms she had to miss Thanksgiving with family & family friends. That added to the stress & worry which makes everything worse including her other illnesses.
Her pain is so intense that she rocks back & forth and/or moans in agony. Sometimes it's so painful that it also makes her cry & feel like throwing up. In fact, she was just throwing up. She is supposed to be resting & avoiding stress but she can't stop worrying about all of these new & upcoming medical bills on top of the ones she is already dealing with on a regular basis. Because of the Lupus she also often needs special tests including nuclear heart scans which cost over $1000 after insurance pays a portion, plus a copay. Her medical bills are already more than overwhelming & they are quickly sending her into a panic every day & night. She is grinding her teeth & panicking in her sleep so much that she went through an expensive mouthguard for her TMJ so now she is hurting her teeth & feels like she walked into a wall every day because of the pain & discomfort from it & the fact that it's making the TMJ worse. She is also worrying that her teeth are going to be ruined if she doesn't get this stress under control & find a way to be able to afford a new mouthguard from the dentist. The cheap ones don't work for her.
She is losing weight without really trying & that's with Hypothyroidism. This is serious. I am worried about her & all of this stress & worrying is making her worse & giving her additional issues & symptoms.
She's also constantly worrying about her car 's water pump that is leaking & getting stranded while this sick, plus the repair estimate is not far under $1000. This is after having to replace tires after driving into a hardware store parking lot & picking up roofing nails in them & also having to have other work done. Two of her furry kids have been having health problems & that gets expensive fast as well. She can't stop worrying & is making herself even sicker.

We have even marked items down way too low just to sell more & faster. We both much prefer donating & otherwise helping others & feel shitty about feeling the need to ask for help ourselves.
I'm really worried about her, as is her family & friends.
Although Allie is very sick right now, she's tough and she's strong. But sometimes that's not enough. She is always trying to improve her health even when it's a constant battle. Being healthy is hard to do when you're sick, yet she's strictly sticking to her diet, taking her medication and resting trying to get better and still working when she can. Allie has always helped anyone she could, often times more than she should. There's a picture of her in the dictionary next to the word "sweet". Doesn't matter if you're a person or an animal, she's always done everything she could when help was needed. Now she needs a little help. Anyone that knows Allie knows that she doesn't like to ask for help with anything. She would rather be the one helping. So let's help her out for a change. Thank you.
