Dusty's insulin pump

About 2 years ago, Our youngest son Dusty was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. We have been on a roller coaster of high and low blood sugars ever since.  At our last Dr. appointment, we were offered the option of an insulin pump that would allow our son to have more of a normal life of a child. This means he would be able to eat what he wants when he wants instead of having to wait until a meal to have a snack or a treat. As of right now he can only have 3-4 meals per day with a shot every time he eats. The pump is something he can wear all the time including when he plays or swims, and would prevent him from having hypoglycemia as well as hyperglycemia. The cost of this pump is high, It is $2,000.00 out of pocket. We need to have the upfront cost of $600.00 within 2-4 weeks. We would like to see our son have more days where he doesn't have to have 5-7 shots per day
