Dustin's Baclefon Pump Surgery

Hi, My name is Dustin Miller Jr. I am 27 years old, slim and slender body and I am 6 feet tall. I have red hair and blue eyes and I have a mild cerebral palsy and a seizure disorder and I walk around with crutches. My hobbies are sleeping, listening to music,fishing,camping, going to the movies, spending time with family and friends, traveling on cruise lines, shopping cheap, and riding four Wheeler and cte. I'm one who had Celebral Pasly ever since I was born. There isn't a cure for my condition.  Celebral Pasly I was introduced to a medical treatment device call Medtronic TBI Baclefon Pump Therapy.  I had my second Baclefon Pump Replacement Surgery on December 22 2011. The TBI Medtronic Therapy system is impanted in my lower right abodmen underneath the skin. There is a cathedral that attaches to the pump it self and the other end attaches to my spinal cord. In my case what the Medtronic Baclefon Pump Therapy system does is it stores a medicine called Baclefon inside the actual pump system and the pump despents it through the cathedral directly into my spinal cord and it flows through out my body. The Baclefon Pump is designed to control my spasticity in my lower extremities caused by my health condition Celebral Pasly so I won't be a shriveled up prun and stiff and be able to motivate and walk around better. The reason I'm doing this Go Fund me is because the batteries in TBI Medtronic Thserapy system only last for 6 years before you have to have the entire system replaced. I have made it a total of 6 years and 8 months with my current 20 CC Baclefon Pump so far. My current 20 CC TBI Medtronic Baclefon Therapy System battery life expires in September 2018 and will shut down automatically. I'm not sure of the exact surgery date at this point. My doctor will be swopping out my 20 CC Baclefon Pump Therapy System with a 40 CC Baclefon Pump Therapy System that holds two times the medicine to less my appointments for refills from every 45 days like I'm currently going for refills to just having refills every 6 months to a year once there's a availability slot for me to be able to have the replacement surgery and the upgraded Therapy System impanted. My goal with this Go Fund me is the following Transportation Gas Exspense Hotel Room Stay Exspense Fast Food Restaurant Exspense Any Hospital upfront co payments there may be during hospital admissions the day of surgery and for any medical care services and treatment I may need after I'm released from hospital and at home My insurance company only covered the surgical procedure portion so far at this point for me to have the Baclefon Pump Replacement done.
