LIV4Change Course 2019

LIV Village is a cluster foster care village that's based in Durban, South Africa. This amazing organisation seeks to provide vulnerable and orphaned children in South Africa with a family environment and an environment where they can learn, grow and get equipped with values and life skills. Sadly, South Africa is full of orphaned and vulnerable children, mostly due to the HIV and AIDS. LIV Village places children in a home with up to 7 other children and a house mother, LIV model an African Village lifestyle and family environment. It's such an amazing and wonderful thing that they are doing and it's important that they can continue to do their work. They are giving children a new hope and future in their lives and growing leaders in every child.

In January 2019, I will be going to serve at LIV village for 6 months, but I'm unable to get there without the support of others, so I'm raising money to fund my trip and stay at LIV Village. The money will be used to cover the costs of travelling, food, accommodation and in the case of an emergency. As well as a GoFundMe page, I will be hard at work planning fundraisers, and working shifts to earn money for the trip.

I do understand that I'm trying to raise quite a bit of money, this is because I won't quite know what my living costs will be until I get there, but any money that's been raised but not used by the end of the 6 months will be donated to LIV Village.
