Duke's Vet Bills

For those of you who are unaware, about 2 months ago Duke was hit by a car.  He walked away with just a few minor scrapes and a new found fear of all moving vehicles, but otherwise totally fine. We knew the road to recovery wasn't going to be easy, but we never expected this. Since the accident, he has been having non-consistent, but notable digestion issues including a loss of appetite and significant weight loss. After months of diet changes and doing everything in our power to make our baby feel better, we discovered a lump in his abdomen. 

On Monday, we took him in for further examinations. The vet is unsure if it related to the accident and after many x-rays and other unaffordable tests, still has no idea what the mass even is. After a long discussion on next steps, Roland and I have decided that the best option is to move forward with an exploratory surgery to learn more. Unfortunately, this comes with an unknown cost that we have no way to pay. I do not want to go to deep into our financial situation because that is not what this is about, but many of you know our recent struggles with our vehicles, Roland's leg, other vet visits for Duke's dad, and unexpected decreases in expected income. We have already spent close to $1,000 of our own money (that was supposed to go to bills), and just simply can't afford to put any more money towards this.  Bottom line: we need help.
