Duffy's Ride for PTSD & 1S1D1T

Donation protected
1 Soldier 1 Dog 1 Team is a 501c3 not for profit pairing veterans and first responders with career-related illnesses (especially PTSD) with trained service/companion/support dogs - and we need your support! We are making stops across the country to raise awareness about Post Traumatic Stress awareness and developing support for 1S1D1T. 100% of funds raised on the rides will go to the Soldier-Dog Team training! Your support NOW will kickstart the ride so we can get training started for soldier and dog teams.

$5,000 is the average cost for supporting for the intensive training of the team.
Thank you for your support toward this journey! This will impact every soldier and trained shelter rescue dog, and every Veteran and First Responder's lives we touch. Thank you!

About Us: UNCOMPENSATED Chairman and Founder of 1 Soldier 1 Dog 1 Team, a 501c3, is Timothy Duffy, 58, New Jersey. Duffy is a FDNY retired firefighter, 9.11 First Responder, survivor and hero, Navy vet and noted dog trainer for more than 3 0 years. Duffy will be riding his 2000 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Sport, the same motorcycle he rode on his way to the Twin Towers in the internationally famous photo captured on September 11, 2001.

The funds raised will go directly to work with PTSD Soldiers and rescued support/service/companion dogs. 1S1D1T set this fundraising goal to work on outreach to Soldiers and First Responders and animal rescue shelters to bring more Soldiers and Dogs together as support teams.

Duffy is supported by a team of not for profit and business professionals, insuring the integrity

Why? 22 US Veterans commit suicide every day, according to a Veteran’s Administration study in USA Today (1/22/17 site, USA TODAY, Gregg Zoroya, 2/1/13). Timothy Duffy began focusing on building his organization on PTSD education, awareness and incorporating support canines rescued from shelters. He has combined his knowledge, education and passion for helping humans and shelter dogs, dedicating his life to creating teams serving one another, giving them both a chance at life. The effect of Post Traumatic Stress is being recognized not only with veterans returning from combat zones and first responders serving in the thin blue line.

1S1D1T serves soldiers and survivors from all branches of military and first responders nationwide. Duffy is reaching out to these people, training shelter dogs to help build the team – saving soldiers and shelter dogs, one team at a time. In 1S1D1T's outreach, we will also be offering a support network to bring together rescue facilities and support trainers nationwide.

At these events, Duffy will be sharing his stories and speaking about PTSD. Please Get Involved! Attend an event or ride with us! "1 Soldier 1 Dog 1 Team " will have live feed, video and photos shared via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our website, www.1soldier1dog1team.org which is under construction.
