Dublin to Galway Cycle 2018

The Laurels Charity Crew have been raising money for Crumlin Children's Hospital for 10 years and in more recent times the Straight Ahead Charity. The money raised is to take Children with Scoliosis off the waiting list and improve their quality of life. To date 100 children have had their operations and their lives changed by the charity.
This is the 10th Anniversary of the cycle with a hope to break the €1 million euro raised barrier. My own daughter Chloe was diagnosed with Scoliosis in February 2018 making this years cycle all the more special & important to me.
Yes I cycle, Yes I'm overweight, no I've never cycled 220km in a day and training has not gone to plan with health reasons and the poor weather.
I have never taken on a challenge like this before but there will be no excuses.

220km Cycle from Clondalkin to Galway on Friday 20th
125km Cycle from Galway to Tullamore on Saturday 21st
95km Cycle from Tullamore to Clondalkin Sunday 22nd
