Nick Whitaker is forever remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and for the love and support he showed to the many people fortunate enough to count him as family and friend. Dubb - as he was called by so many - leaves behind a legacy rich with passion and purpose. Nowhere did his passion make more of an impact than in the classroom. The only teacher with a neon Mohawk and rainbow finger nails, his students were immediately drawn to him as they found a place where they could be themselves. As a social studies and leadership teacher at Castro Valley High School, Dubb was a beloved figure in the lives of thousands of students whose contributions to the world will always be tied back to their favorite teacher. Dubb's family, friends, and colleagues will be establishing a memorial scholarship fund in his name that will ensure his legacy of leadership, support, and dedication lives on forever. All funds donated to this site will be directed toward this scholarship fund.
