Art Show

I’ve been invited to show my photography at an esteemed fine art gallery in Paso Robles, California. The show is in January of 2018. The show is called Veteran’s Voices; it’s a venue for retired military and active duty to show their fine art to the world. I’m honored to have been invited to participate as an artist. But I’m a currently a fulltime, disabled student on a small budget working towards my degree. I can’t afford the large expenses on my own to attend this show.
I will need funding towards several main components to ensure my success. There is the round-trip airfare to travel from Bend, Oregon to California, the hotel cost for two nights, car rental fees for three days, meals, printing costs for both large and small photo prints plus packaging costs and shipping, and all the other little things like business cards and clothing expenses.
Receiving this funding will be an investment in my future as an artist and also an avenue to healing. Meeting other survivors of trauma in the art community will strengthen my courage and resolve to continue forward with my life and my career in my fine art. Any help would be a step forward in the right direction to help me share my voice of peace, beauty, and hope to a wounded world.
