Everyone deserves an opportunity to study abroad
We are the Chinese teachers at the Dayton Regional STEM School (DRSS), a public school that values Chinese language and requires students to take two years of Chinese. As Chinese educators, we have seen the transformative nature of what studying abroad can do. To better help our students learn Chinese, we lead our students on trips to China and Taiwan so they can practice their language skills, make Chinese friends, and experience Chinese culture firsthand.
However, we have some students who love learning Chinese but cannot afford to go abroad. Therefore, we want to establish this fund to raise money for scholarships to help students who have financial difficulties that prevent them from studying abroad. These students deserve the opportunity to go to China or Taiwan, and we need your help to make their study abroad dreams come true. Any contribution you make will go straight into the study abroad scholarship.
