Scott Malvern Racing Fund 2013

Scott Malvern's short motor racing career has been nothing less than phenomenal! In 2011 he dominated British & European Formula Ford winning 26 races from 33 race starts on his way to claiming the Dunlop MSA British Championship, the Euro Cup Series and the prestigious Formula Ford Festival.
Previous Champions in Formula Ford include Jenson Button, Ayrton Senna & Nigel Mansell. In both 2010 & 2011 he was nominated as one of the six finalists for the highly coveted McLaren Autopsort BRDC Award and he is a British Racing Drivers Club Rising Star & winner of the 2011 Henry Surtees Award for the most outstanding performance by a young British Racing Driver. All the more remarkable is that Scott has achieved all of this on less than a shoestring budget helped by a few loyal partners & dedicated friends & family.

Scott looked set to sit out the 2012 season due to lack of funding but literally at the very last minute he returned to the grid when he was offered a life line to compete in Formula Renault BARC with Cullen Motorsport.

Despite not having driven the car until the opening round at Snetterton in April Scott went onto clinch the Protyre Formula Renault Championship on Live TV in September by a comfortable margin. Along the way he collected three race victories in fourteen rounds as well as seven fastest laps and three new lap records. The achivement saw him voted British Club Driver of the Year by the readers of Autosport.

Now Scott is desperately in a race against time to return to the grid and has targeted the place where he will receive the most exposure for his partners the BTCC TOCA package.

Unsurprisingly given his great track record Scott is not short of offers but in these harsh economic times he will be required to bring some budget though the offers he has received are all very favourable.

Autosport magazine said of Scott in their 2012 season review "Scott Malvern underlined his class with a fantastic campaign and adapted to the aerodynamics of Formula Renault superbly. He has the pedigree to achieve so much more - he just needs the backing". This just about sums it up for Scott. Can you help this exciting, dedicated and hard working young racer to stay on the grid in 2013?
