Driven By My Pain (Girls Like Roz)

My sister's name is Rosalind Alford and she is a survivor of molestation and rape. At a very early age she was molested by a family friend and molested again by the same man as a pre-teen. A few years later my sister was staying at her aunt's apartment and the family was robbed and my sister was raped at gun point by multiple men. Because of these tragic events my sister has had to battle with depression, self worth, and many nightmares. The rape was so overwhelming that on the anniversary of the rape my sister was reliving these moments.
Three years ago my sister decided to take control and do something special to create new memories on the anniversary to replace the horrible memories of her rape.  She remarried on the anniversary date  of her rape to have a good ever-lasting memory.
Roz truly has a heart for women, children, and men that have suffered and endured any form of sexual assualt. This year she is planning to host her 1st Sexual Assualt Awareness Banquet to help others heal and to provide resources for families that are living in brokenness due to sexual abuse.
The banquet will include speakers that have also suffered at the hands of sexual abuse, a journey to heal, resources for survivors, food, drinks, and dessert will be provided. Tickets will be sold, however that will not cover the cost of everything.
Roz is in the beginning stages of starting her foundation called for Girls Like Roz. She has had this dream for many years and now has the courage and strength needed to give her pain a voice. 
Please help my sister with the banquet cost which will help not only her but other women, girls, and men move forward in their journey of healing.
