We are unable to pay the tens of thousands of medical bills and utility bills. Over $50,000 in 2015. $20,000 in 2016.
On Dec. 03, 1986 I delivered my second son at home. What a Wonderful Experience! It was a quick and easy birth, 6 lbs 9oz. Drew Hunter arrived!
He was three weeks premature, but perfect in every way! My family was so Happy! For twenty years he was healthy (except for Migraines) and was an exceptional athlete. He was a NATURAL Baseball player & became a switch hitting Catcher that hit home runs both right handed & left handed! When he was 16 he hit TWO HOME RUNS in one inning; one righty & one lefty!
He lost a college scholarship (Baseball) to Crohn's Disease and Epilepsy. He woke up one day in terrible pain and had blood coming out of both ends.
He was 6'2" & weighed 220 but lost all the way down to 153! In 2012 he contracted a third disease called Pyoderma Gangrenousm on his right arm (it's a rare skin disease that 10% of Crohn's patients get. It's related to Gangrene and Leprosey!)
Last December while in the hospital with a giant open wound on his left leg they suggested that they may need to cut his leg off & cut out his Colon! He said "NO WAY".
He's been battleing for his life for over ELEVEN years now. In 2011 he spent nine months in bed; 3 of those months in the hospital. He had Chemo twice; 30 days at a time! He has almost died several times that year.
2016 he spent 7 MONTHS IN BED; was in and out of the hospital with BLOOD CLOTS , GUT PAIN, and a HUGE PYODERMA GAMGREMOUSM Wound on his leg.

I'm, a single dad living on Social Security and Drew lives with me. By the way, I have an "incurable" disease too called Achalasia that limits what I can do.
Last year he had 15 seizures! The picture is him on the floor of the Emergency Room after a seizure where he busted his head open and got stitched up. After one seizure at home in the kitchen he hit his head and broke a tooth. The kitchen floor was covered with blood. We've been to numerous doctors over the years. None have had any workable solutions. Some have wanted to cut out his entire colon and parts of his intestines. We have read many, many books and some have helped greatly, but so far no permanate cures are to be found.
He has a friend in that has given him some CBD oil especially for epilepsy. This has given us some REAL HOPE!
We need money to pay for FOOD, and Utility bills, & Supplements. The special protein powder cost over $370 a month! (from Listen to your gut. Com) and several hundred for all sorts of other supplements. I've found a natural Doctor but they don't take insurance.
Our car is 18 years old and needs a tuneup &numerous repairs. We look forward to 2018 with hopes of health.
