If someone’s heart could break a million times they still wouldn’t feel the amount of pain I feel over the loss of you. You were my best friend, my light on a dark day, my soulmate. You were the definition of what a husband should be. And our kids, how can I raise our kids without you? You were their world. They love you. You were their jungle gym, golf coach, and favorite person to play games with. But you were so much more. Working together we were raising two kids to be good friends, kind people, and strong children of God. The faith that you helped to cultivate in me may be the only reason I’m standing at this point. I go on, we go on, because of that faith. I can only pray to be half the bright light you were to this world. Until we meet again, you lift me up.
