Send Our Kids to the Country!

Hello.  We are a 5th grade class of 25 students who attend a Title 1 school located in New York City near Lincoln Center.  Although our students are from diverse backgrounds, countries, and religious beliefs, we all hold the same truth as a learning community:  we respect each other, we are upstanders, we are curious minded learners and we seek adventures in EVERYTHING we do.  

Our students have a proven record of academic success, community service, and consistent good behavior.  We believe they deserve the best. 

As our students verture forth to Middle School and beyond, we as their teachers wish to send them forth with wonderful memories and a final elementary school year experience that will remain forever in their hearts.  But we need your help.  The cost of our "senior" fifth grade trip to the countryside is beyond the means of many of our students.  We need to augment our trip with the support of friends and family like you, that understand the benefits of such an experience.

We need to raise $2,500. by May 1st in order to secure our reservation at the day camp. 

Please consider donating any amount you feel comfortable so that we can surprise the kids and let them know that DREAMS CAN COME TRUE!
