F1 in Schools has started an amazing STEM program focused on helping students from all over the world. This program was built with the idea that learning is fun and it has been extremely successful. Our generation is more connected with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math than ever before.
We are a group of four young men and women who first met in daycare. Basically, we have known each other since we were in diapers! We came together to form this team and enter this competition. Even though we don't attend the same school, or live near each other, that doesn't discourage us from trying hard and meeting often to work together. We are lucky to have Classic Car Club of Manhattan as our premiere sponsor.
Dream Racers has been tasked with designing and racing a small version of a Formula 1 car. At the first ever regional competition in the New York/ Tri-State area, we won top honors for Research and Development and 3rd place in the overall competition. We need your help to get to Nationals held in Austin, TX from June 8-10. Sponsoring our team with a small monetary donation will help us pay for some of our expenses along the way (equipment, travel, registration fees, etc.). If we place at Nationals, we move on to compete at the World Finals in Malaysia.
