Dream Big for Freya

Donation protected
My name is Vicky and just over 2 weeks ago our world was turned upside down when our 4 year old daughter Freya was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) a type of brain tumour that forms in a part of the brainstem known as the pons. DIPG affects between 20 to 30 children in the UK every year and there is no effective treatment.
DIPG (difuse intrinsic pontine glioma), is an agressive inoperable brain tumor.
DIPG has a 0% survival rate, only 10% of children survive 2 years following thier diagnosis and less than 1% survive for 5 years, the average survival is 9 months from diagnosis.
Freya will start a 6 week course of radiotherapy on 31st October in the hope of shrinking the tumour and giving Freya more time.
Were setting up this page for Freya and our family to make the most amazing memories any family dreams of whilst also praying for a cure. We want to spread awareness of this awful disease and help our daughter live the best life that every little girl deserves. We will never give up hope for a miracle, but we should not forget the miracle that we all have the power to create. Thank you for taking the time to look at our page
