Dragon Scales ICHSA Finals NYC Trip

Dragon Scales is a diverse coed a cappella group from the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School (ARGS) in Petersburg, Va.  We recently competed in the Mid-Atlantic Quarter and Semi Finals in the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) taking home the first place trophy at both events.  The student members won awards for best solo, best arrangement, and best choreography! Finishing first at semifinals has put us in the finals to compete among the top 9 high school a cappella groups in the nation! Dragon Scales will travel to New York City to sing at the Lincoln Center on April 20th for a chance to win 1st place at ICHSA Finals! We will be representing our 14 counties that feed into our school, the state of VA, and the entire Mid-Atlantic region! We need your help to get there. These funds can help us with travel, meals, lodging, and other associated competition fees. This is a once in a lifetime experience for these 9th through 12th grade students who have worked so hard and gone up against fierce competition to get to this stage.
