Dr. Kent E. Knife medical transport

Mom and dad were on a road trip and stopped in Gatlinburg on Tuesday (10/8/19). Mom said Dad had a few moments of confusion and instability. He said he wanted to just lay down. He tried to get up for some water and fell. They life flighted him to Knoxville to the University of Tennessee hospital. He has had a stroke. He is coherent most of the time. No function with his left arm or leg and no feeling on the left side of his face, but it is not drooping. Although he is coherent, he is very confused and frustrated. He needs to be transported back to Florida. We found out a little while ago that insurance will not pay for a medical transport. There is no way mom can just drive him home. He will be transfered to a rehab facility close to home. He just keeps telling us he wants to go home and asking for his dogs. If anyone can help us raise money for this transportation, we would be so grateful. Dad spent his life helping others and touching so many lives. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
