Dr. Kenneth Dunk's Cancer Treatment Fund

For over 40 years, Dr. Kenneth Dunk, DC (ret.), ND (ret.) has restored the health of his patients in private practice as a talented chiropractor and naturopathic doctor. But that wasn't enough for him - he wanted to further the profession of naturopathic medicine, which was in its infancy at the time, and nurture future practitioners. He did so with great enthusiasm and generosity for over 35 years, having held positions in the Ontario Naturopathic Association and the Board of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy as well as teaching countless students at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine as a lead lecturer, teaching assistant and as a beloved supervisor at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. In his humble and generous manner, he is an exemplary model of our very tenet of naturopathic medicine, 'Doctor as Teacher'.  

Unfortunately, his health took an unexpected turn a few years ago when he suffered a heart attack. Thankfully, he recovered from it but needed to prioritize his health and retired early from CCNM last year. But instead of enjoying sandy beaches and sunshine, he was recently unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer. The physical and emotional toll this has had on his family has forced both himself and his beloved wife, Dr. Rena Zambri ND, to close their private practices. Now they are additionally burdened with financial strain and two children still in school.
