Baseball Dreams Coming True

Hi, my name is Thomas Dowell. I am 16 years old and a Junior in High School. I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and have fallen in love with the game since the beginning. Over the years, I have played on different teams, including Khoury League, Middle school, High school, and Travel/Select Teams. I have played on 3 different select teams where I have acquired a nice amount of experience and hardware. This past summer, I played in a tournament where I was rewarded with Game Day USA's MVP award. This award qualified me to play in Game Day USA's All-Star Weekend tournament in Columbus, Ohio. It was a major opportunity for me to get my name out there. Not only was I being scouted by college coaches but Game Day USA was also scouting me. A couple of weeks after the tournament, I got an email inviting me to play in the Junior All-American Tournament in one of 5 different venues. I have chosen to play in West Palm Beach, Florida on January 18-20, 2019. This complex is where the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros host their Spring Training. However, the cost of this event is too much for my family. I come from a single parent household and have five siblings. My dream is to play baseball in college and hopefully in the MLB. This tournament brings me one step closer. The money donated will be used for plane cost, hotel expenses, and spending money for the tournament. Any and all donations are accepted.
