As I once again go on this journey to teach cancer who the boss is, I realize how important it is to find a cure for all of us. I am going to survive and be fine. However, every single one of us is going to be touched by this awful disease. All this new battle has done in re-focused my efforts to destroy cancer once and for all.
As many of you remember, I spent years raising money for Mary's Walk. They inspired me to start my own walk with the focus of motivating my students to make a difference because I know that someone who can cure cancer is sitting at Scarborough Middle School. May 1st will be the 2nd Red Storm Strikes out Cancer. I want this year to have more participants and raise more money than last year and bring us one step closer to inevitably finding a cure.
Any donation you are able to make will make all the difference. It doesn't take one large donation, but instead we need everyone to get involved and that will bring us to a cure.
