Dorset Badger Cull 2018 Fuel fund

The cruel and pointless badger cull is set to begin again in Dorset, and yet again Dorset Sabs will be active around the clock protecting vulnerable setts. We will also be accommodating and coordinating volunteers coming to us from across the country. We are already out sett surveying across a large area of the county, as well as providing protection for existing setts.

The logistics alone are a major challenge, and our expenses are escalating rapidly, with multiple vehicles, fuel costs, maps, compasses, food, torches and other kit for our volunteers, along with the inevitable vehicle repairs, and much more.

Our fuel and repair costs alone ran to nearly £3,000 during the period of the last cull.

£300 will at least get us through the first two weeks of the cull, enabling us to keep multiple sabs in the field doing what they do best. Saving lives.
