The Harvest for Humanity team has identified deserving women in Haiti to receive the first ever Women in Technology Educational Scholarships. These donations will provide them with the opportunity to reach their dreams.

Big Obstacle: A lack of funds for further education is the roadblock for Dorina.

Dorina, a tenacious young Haitian woman with a dream of building an orphanage that supports and guides children to success in life, is determined to make a difference in her community.
I found Dorina inspiring primarily because of her tenacity and persistence. Despite significant obstacles and less than ideal circumstances, she has not let either get in her way. Her primary roadblock on the path to pursuing her education is money, not any lack of drive or skill on her part.
I feel like supporting Dorina and giving her a "blessing path," or a chance in life, will contribute directly to the future strength of her community.
