Dora's Story:
Help a very hard-working, single Mom finish her Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution at SIT Graduate Institute. She's almost there, (two more months of thesis writing and practicum work) and is now out of funds.
Dora attended SIT's CONTACT( Conflict transformation across cultures) program in 2007, and then was hired as the Field Coordinator for the Contact program in Rwanda since 2009. A long time peacebuilder, Dora is now studing her MA degree in Peace and Conflict Transformation. Her dream is to secure a safe future for her toddler, Liam and herself, while doing social services work in Vermont, helping other people who have struggled. Her Master's Degree will help her with her dream. She is two months from completing her thesis and graduating!
As Friends of Liam and Dora, our goal is to raise $3400 by September 15. Your donation will help with food, medicine, gas, diapers and clothes for Liam and his childcare during this final crush of time at Hilltop Montessori in Brattleboro. When Liam's Mom graduates on August 11, your donation can also help see Liam and Dora through her job search to find work in Vermont.
