Who am I?
I am Joshua Toluwanimi Babarinde, a young writer, graphic designer and physician. I have a strong passion for young people and I am passionate about using creativity (art, media and literature) as tools to reach them.
I created TreasureHouse Media, a publishing and creativity company that exists to use insightful words and inspired imaginations to harbinger transformation. I also run the HeirWalk Blog , a blog where I post regular inspiration from my personal life journey and walk with God and I produce a periodical digital and print digest, HeirWalk. Its fourteenth issue, NUGGETS was released in August, 2015.

You are reading this because I recently published an interactive non-fiction book for young people titled Donut. It has reached many people in Nigeria, Canada, The United Kingdom, South Africa and the United States of America. Though targeted at young people, it continues to transform the lives of readers, young and old alike.
What is Donut?
Donut is an interactive non-fiction book that is written to suit the teenage and young adult audience. Hanging on two key passages from scripture, Acts 17:26-17 and Matt 6:33, I painted a good picture of the Donut life - emptiness and mediocrity - which, sadly, most teens are living.
I then left the reader in no doubt to the way out - to connect to the core of life- to God and the abundant life he offers. Upon this foundation, a young person can learn, grow and shine in life and eternity. In 15 chapters, I weaved practical and true stories, illustrations and hard-core truths to present a simple, concise down-to-earth guide on what is most important in life.
Without GOD, you might be puffy all right – fabulous, rich, brilliant, boxed up, handsome or beautiful – but nonetheless EMPTY.
What is my aim?
I am so passionate about young people. Since I left secondary school, I have had the passion burning within – which has refused to be extinguished. I want them to make a great influence in life, to fulfil purpose – to be the right teenager!
I hope to help young people connect to God early in their life, discover how gloriously He thinks of them, learn about Him and life, and grow in Him so that they can shine in life to the glory of God. My vision in one sentence is to be a point man that will lead men to God and the abundant life.
What is my plan?
I have not folded my hands.
Since April 6, 2015, we have been going about speaking about and give out copies of the Donut book for FREE (yes, FREE!) to teenagers in schools, churches, and anywhere we find them, and have also had ambassadors share the book in the areas we haven’t physically reached. To date, we have given 1,000 copies of Donut; another 1,000 copies just came off freshly from the press.
Our goal is to reach as many young people as possible with the message of this book: exit mediocrity and emptiness and embrace fullness and fulfillment with God.
The Core Campaign team, a group of passionate individuals, who go out, as well as prayer and financial supporters have, by God’s grace made this possible so far.
And we want to do more! That is why this page was opened.
I want you to support this project by giving to enable me get this quality book into the hands of teenagers FREE. There is a message God gave me for young people. I want you to help me get it to them – that they may read, believe and act.
What’s our budget?
According to the expansible nature of the project, our financial needs keep growing. And we will also need to move around, across cities, send packages across countries, produce follow-up materials (e.g. the Donut tip-of-the-finger workbook), as well as other working expenses in this big project.
But we have set a target of $2,500 to be raised within the next 6 months. And we always welcome willing and godly contributions all year round.
Will you support us?
Please respond only if you feel led to me! I do not want my words to drive you to pity. I want God to illuminate your sights to see the dimensions of the harvest field and what needs to be done! It is large! So large! And the workers are few. But you can be a plus to the work force.
The Bible gives us clear evidence from the histories of Moses, Solomon and Nehemiah [in building the tabernacle, the temple of God and the wall of Jerusalem] that no God-driven project ever runs short of funding. We strongly believe that if God has given the vision behind our projects [and we carry it out according to His pattern], when we call for donations, He will stir up willingly hearts to give human and material resources for the work until it is complete. If you choose to support us, please do not be compelled to commit to more than your willing heart will cheerfully remit and do not expect just monetary reward for your giving - God has better ideas.
You can also tell your friends and family about this project. There's no better way to make an impact than to become an active advocate yourself. Join now and make an impact!
Then Moses gave an order: "No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary." And so the people were restrained from bringing more, because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work. Exodus 36:6-7 [NIV paraphrased]
