Our Mission
Donovan's Kids, Inc, is a nonprofit organization that engages and challenges Ohio children who are
Amputees, related to a U.S. Veteran, Spinal Bifida and have some form of limb limitation to finding new ways to develop in mind, body, and to achieve a fulfilling life.

To engage, challenge and achieve are the goals for these special needs kids. We hold a 5-day over-night camp every year. The camp is run by the good people of the Akron Rotary and the YMCA organizations of Summit County.  Donovan's Kids Camp is for campers between the ages 8-15. This camp provides an incredible opportunity for peer-to-peer growth. We are not your typical summer camp. Yes, we have all of the regular games and activities. We include off-site adventures to places like the All America Soap Box Derby Downs, where the kids get to compete in a downhill race.  But what really sets us apart, we create the opportunity for our kids to forget about their differences and have a chance to just be kids. 

Our mission is to facilitate the development of a much-needed support network for these children. 

All funding will go towards the costs of sending Amputees, Spinal Bifida and U.S. Veteran children to our summer camp.
